Daniel ("Dan") Wilde is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
His award-winning research centers on how managers and entrepreneurs can effectively forecast key changes in an industry and make wise strategic commitments in the presence of uncertainty. It has served as the basis for consulting work at several public and private companies on building industry foresight and future fitness.
He received his Ph.D. at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned his MAcc, CPA, and MBA, and gained experience working as an entrepreneur, as an auditor for publicly traded companies at Ernst & Young, and as a Controller/CFO-for-hire for startups.
His wife and four kids live in Bloomington, IN.
