Daniel ("Dan") Wilde is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
His award-winning research centers on how managers and entrepreneurs can develop superior foresight and make wise strategic commitments in the presence of uncertainty. It has served as the basis for consulting work at several public and private companies on building industry foresight and future fitness.
He received his Ph.D. at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned his MBA, MAcc, and CPA, and gained experience working as an entrepreneur, as an auditor for publicly traded companies at EY, and as a Controller/CFO-for-hire for startups.
His wife and four kids live in Bloomington, IN.
